The Esther School

School Administrator

If you have a gift and love of leadership, consider serving overseas at The Esther School in Zambia, Southern Africa.

The School Administrator is responsible for the success of the mission school by carrying out its vision and fulfilling its mission. The Administrator provides spiritual, academic, and administrative leadership to the school – to faculty and staff, students, parents, and the broader community. Through his or her leadership, he or she will guide, inspire, and direct the school’s programs, personnel, and environment. The Administrator may be assigned to elementary or middle school, dependent on the present need.

A long-term commitment to growing, guiding, and directing the school into the future is highly desired. A minimum, three-year commitment is required. An annual stipend to cover basic expenses is provided. The individual should be prepared to raise support as a missionary.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrates excellent relational and team building skills
  • Experience or strong interest in international teaching and cross-cultural learning
  • Embraces and demonstrates a biblical approach to teaching

Education Requirements

Minimum of five years of successful classroom teaching experience and school administrative experience, preferably in a Christian school setting. Experience can be in combination with a Master’s degree in education leadership from an accredited post-secondary institution.
