All teachers are required to have a Bachelor's Degree, be certified/or certifiable in the State of Florida. All teachers must have a strong Christian walk in order to mentor and model for their students what it means to be a follower of Christ. We are looking for teachers who are becoming experts in their field, who are intellectually curious, and who are ready to integrate faith with excellent academics while providing a safe an healthy learning environment.
We are seeking an Elementary School Teacher who is a committed follower of Jesus, called to Christian education and has experience integrating faith and learning in the classroom. The teacher must demonstrate a love for God and strong Christian walk, in order to mentor and model for their students what it means to be a follower of Christ. The teacher must be able to establish a developmentally appropriate, positive, and safe learning environment in which they teach subject matter effectively with engaging lesson plans.
Job Requirements
A clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior with active participation and regular worship in a local Christian church is required along with the following:
- Elementary classroom teaching experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a desire to help and serve others
- Communicate and collaborate with parents, students, and teachers
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time
Education Requirements
- Teaching Certificate or Statement of Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, education degree preferred
