Curriculum Sales and Customer Service Associate
CSI is seeking a part-time Curriculum Sales and Customer Service Associate.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: TBD
STATUS: Part-Time Seasonal
PAY: Commensurate with Experience
The Curriculum Sales and Customer Service Associate will be responsible for responding to pre-sale inquiries through the sales email. Common inquiries include requesting electronic previews of curriculum, asking about re-stock timelines, and suggestions for curriculum purchases. This role also manages the CSI online store to ensure accurate inventory numbers, item descriptions, pricing, etc.
Job Requirements
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively provide support to achieve and exceed sales goals, delivering a superior customer experience, and ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Respond to inquiries and incoming phone calls, emails, and all other leads within defined time frames while utilizing appropriate communication skills and demonstrating detailed knowledge of the product lines, industry, and Christian school educational market.
- Effectively and efficiently work with the CSI contractor to manage e-commerce store to optimize and improve each customer’s experience.
- Gather market and customer information and provides feedback on future buying trends.
- Work closely with the marketing department for the coordination and project management of the marketing for all product sales.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements
This position requires a minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in business, marketing, information technology, education, or related field.
REQUIRED:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively utilize the internet and proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to define and troubleshoot problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to problem solve for and respond quickly to customers.
- A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and biblical principles.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Three to five years of related experience in sales and marketing preferred.
- Strong project management skills are needed to successfully complete responsibilities.
- Knowledge of or experience in Christian education.
