What has the biggest influence on a student's success? In the 21st century, schools now dissect, disaggregate, and use data to improve instruction for all groups of students—and high-quality teaching has emerged as the overwhelming answer. But quality teaching demands effective school leadership, especially because the competition in Christian education has increased and the pool of potential school leaders has decreased.
Christian Schools International's Leadership Development programs focus on the following:
Facilitating learning that guides Christian school leaders to craft climate, culture, and community in ways that advance student learning, promote faculty flourishing, and serve as powerful acts of worship
Helping you continue to make a meaningful contribution to your team, which means you become more effective in the workplace. This development assists you in advancing in your career and moving into new positions where you can lead, manage, influence, coach, and mentor others.
Ensuring that you, in your leadership position, stay relevant, informed, and up to date. You are more aware of the changing trends and directions in your profession. The pace of change is probably faster than it's ever been - and this truth is the new culture that we live and work in.
The Emerging Leaders Development Institute (ELDI) is designed for emerging leaders. This weeklong summer boot camp explores today's leadership challenges.
The Principal Development Institute (PDI) is a three-day program where cohort groups of 16 work together and focus on critical issues facing Christian schools.
Board Governance Workshops are critical to the long-term health of our schools, designed to make board members more effective in their roles.
At the CEO Roundtable, CEOs engage in a day and a half of discussion, identifying issues found in the business world and larger schools.
Christian School Educators Science Academy (CSESA)
Working in collaboration with the Association for Christian Schools International and the Van Andel Education Institute, Christian teachers are empowered to develop the scientists of tomorrow.
CSI Bible Instruction Symposium
Elementary, middle, and high school teachers learn ways to advance Bible instruction for their students.
The theme of the next Global Christian School Leadership Summit is “Converge” and is scheduled to take place on March 8–10, 2022 in San Diego, California. Offered every other year, GCSLS is sponsored by the world’s leading Christian school organizations. As a founding member, CSI provides logistical and financial support for the three-day summit.
Led by Dr. David DeJong of the University of South Dakota, PDI cohort graduates discuss their challenges in a series of four one-hour online sessions.
“I have attended both ELDI and PDI and have been encouraged and affirmed by both conferences. The instruction and interaction with instructors and other attendees was very deep and meaningful. The teaching and learning both in class and outside of class was excellent.”
