We are sharing other resources for teachers and parents to reference while students are at home and doing online learning. Please note we have not vetted these resources, so please check with your school if they align with your school’s plan for online learning.

Khan Academy Breakthrough Junior Challenge

Launched on April 1, this competition challenges young people 13–18 to explain a big idea in physics, life sciences, mathematics, or the science of the COVID-19 pandemic in a 3-minute video. The submission deadline is June 25, 2020. Competition and $$$ prize details are at the link. 

Access to Adobe Creative Cloud During COVID-19 Campus Closures

Adobe is making temporary at-home access to their Creative Cloud available until July 6, 2020 for schools that currently have only lab access for students, at no additional cost. 

National Geographic for Kids

National Geographic for Kids is a great science resource for children and teachers. This site also includes worksheets, videos, games, animals, science experiments.

National Ocean Service for Kids

This site provides helpful weather and marine science resources for children, educators, and families.
