Executive Secretary, GRCES Evergreen Campus

The Executive Secretary provides support to the building principal, meets staff and student needs, and communicates with the school community.

  • Manages and coordinates school calendar and schedule, liaising internally and externally.
  • Supports the Principal in staffing coverage, including during absences.
  • Aids Principal in composing and distributing communications, such as Home Bulletins.
  • Acts as a key communication link within and outside the school community.
  • Assists in the coordination of student assessment materials and schedules, i.e. NWEA MAP.
  • Summarizes reports, prepares background documents, and provides accurate data to relevant entities.
  • Participates in school and parent events as directed.
  • Assists in the admissions process through management of student paperwork
  • Corresponds with the building's Lead Facilities Manager for building issues and rental requests.
  • Provides easy access to information for stakeholders and manages supplies and equipment.
  • Handles incoming/outgoing information, acts as a responder for crises, and maintains office organization.
  • Manages money collection, processes Accounts Payable, and acts as a Receptionist as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrates a genuine commitment to Christian education and the school’s mission.
  • Proficient in software like the Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Synergy.
  • Possesses strong secretarial, accounting, computer, and managerial skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with excellent English proficiency.
  • Respect and support administrative roles.
  • Handles confidential information appropriately.
  • Works well collaboratively and under minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates initiative, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.
