Superintendent

The Superintendent is the school’s lead administrator and oversees the academic, administrative, spiritual, and success of Parkview.

Parkview is pre-k through 12th grade with 3 campuses and roughly 500 students.

The superintendent oversees the overall administration, management, and spiritual direction of Parkview Christian Academy. Responsibilities include developing and implementing educational programs while integrating Christian principles, ensuring compliance with educational regulations and standards, fostering a positive school culture grounded in Christian values, overseeing staff hiring and professional development, managing budget and finances, and serving as a liaison between the school, parents, and community. Additionally, the superintendent is responsible for fundraising efforts, strategic planning, and maintaining a strong relationship with the school's governing board and local church leadership. Strong communication, faith-based values, and leadership are essential for this role.

  • Be a member in good standing of a local church professes the gospel.
  • Be comfortable and gifted in spiritual leadership and resolving conflict using Matthew 18 principles.
  • Be approachable and welcoming to a student body representing a variety of different churches and backgrounds.
  • Be passionate about Christian education and the integration of faith and learning at all grade levels.
  • Be able to study, understand, and appreciate the heritage, current, and future state of Parkview Christian Academy.

A Demonstration of Strategic Leadership:

  • Oversee development of mission-centric, consistent, innovative, and long-term vision.
  • Lead the collaborative implementation of a strategic school plan.
  • Communicate the PCA story and vision in a compelling manner.
  • Plan and execute the school’s strategic plan.
  • Have strong relational and communication skills.
  • A good listener, actively inviting and considering new and different viewpoints.
  • Inspire and attract new and existing community members with a clear focus on the mission.
  • Actively participate in the life of the schools–interact with teachers, students, staff, parents, and volunteers.
  • Have an open and collaborative relationship with Parkview’s School Board.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with other local Christian schools, churches, public schools, businesses, and colleges.
  • Display an ethic of excellence every day.

Financial & Development Experience:

  • Manage a multi-million dollar budget.
  • Collaborate with the finance committee in fundraising and donor relationship cultivation.
  • Secure financial commitments from supporters of PCA to achieve the strategic vision.
  • Oversee capital campaigns or other developmental initiatives.

Education Requirements

Educational Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, or professional certification in a relevant field is preferred, but not required.
