Part Time Early 5's (young 5's/ Junior Kindergarten)
Dutton Christian School is looking for a Part Time Early 5's Teacher to begin this fall.
As an Early 5's Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing the educational and developmental needs of children aged five years old, preparing them for the transition to kindergarten. You will create a supportive and stimulating learning environment where children can grow intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. Your responsibilities will include curriculum planning, lesson delivery, student assessment, parent communication, and fostering a positive classroom culture conducive to learning and personal growth.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience working with early childhood-aged children, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to adapt to the diverse needs and abilities of individual students.
- Proficiency in technology integration for instructional purposes.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Valid state teaching certification/license for early childhood education.
