Keokuk Christian Academy’s mission is to provide an educational program of academic excellence in an environment of Christian love and to provide our students with Bible training conducive to building Christian character.
MINISTRY PURPOSE
This position is designed to fulfill the faith-based mission statement, philosophy, and purpose of Keokuk Christian Academy through the diligent, excellent fulfillment of assigned essential requirements and essential responsibilities.
The Head Administrator supports all KCA's programs from Kindergarten through 12th grade, including a 3 and 4 year old preschool.

SPIRITUAL
- Demonstrates a spiritual maturity that radiates a passion for Christ
- Communicates clearly and is responsible for all correspondence and public relations
- Exemplifies the characteristics of a servant leader
- Ensures a learning environment where faith and learning are integral
- Enfolds students and families from a variety of church backgrounds
ADMINISTRATIVE
- Serves as the executive officer of the school, reporting directly to the school board
- Assists the school board with the development and implementation of a strategic plan
- Builds and maintains a vibrant, trusting, and healthy organizational culture
OPERATIONAL
- Leads strategic development and sustainability of an enrollment and marketing plan
- Oversees re-accreditation processes and audits
- Completes required state reporting
INSTRUCTIONAL
- Serves as the executive academic officer of teaching and learning
- With faculty, oversees student issues of academic, social, spiritual, and disciplinary nature
Education Requirements
- School Administration experience, preferred
- Teaching experience with desire to become administratively licensed or administratively certified by accrediting agency
