High School Teacher
DMCS is looking for a full-time or part-time high school teacher to join our team.
DeMotte Christian Schools is looking for a qualified high school teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This position will likely include teaching some English or literature classes along with some other elective classes. Classes could include English 9, English 10, English literature, novels, ethics, preparation for college and careers among others. There are many possibilities as our current staff is flexible to make room for a candidate with experience in different subject areas. We are open to a full-time or part-time teacher. DeMotte Christian Schools is located about an hour southeast of Chicago in Northwest Indiana in a community that has strongly supported Christian education for the past 76 years.
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in English Language Arts and/or secondary education from an accredited college or university, agree fully with the school's statement of beliefs, be an active member of a church with a Reformed persuasion, and be able to teach young children well. Opportunities to lead extracurricular activities are also available.
