Athletic Director
DMCS is seeking a full-time athletic director for the 2024-2025 school year.
DeMotte Christian School is seeking its next athletic director to oversee our middle school and high school athletic programs.
Candidates must:
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Be able to articulate a Christian statement of faith and purpose for Christian education.
- Subscribe to the purpose and principles listed in Section 2.01 of Article II and the educational philosophy contained in Section 3.01 of Article III of the Bylaws.
- Be an active communicant member in good standing of a church which subscribes to the historic Reformed confessions listed in Section 2.01 of Article II of the Bylaws.
- Agree to educate his/her current and prospective children in CSI Christian day schools grade 1-12.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with other adults.
- Demonstrated the ability to work with day school age students.
- Agree to adhere to the Marriage and Sexuality Position Statement.

Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Schedules and contracts all interscholastic athletic events.
- Schedules and contracts officials for all home games.
- Is present or designates a representative to supervise at all home athletic events.
- Announces or designates a representative to announce starting line-ups and opening prayer for all home games.
- Coordinates the scheduling of gate, score, and time keepers, and event supervisor for all home games.
- Coordinates security for home athletic events when necessary.
- Coordinates appropriate transportation for away games.
- Verifies eligibility of students and provides follow-up on eligibility in accordance with school policy.
- Coordinates with the guidance counselor individualized academic plans for students receiving exceptions to normal eligibility standards.
- Interviews and recommends hiring of coaches.
- Coordinates the inventorying and ordering of supplies and uniforms.
- Manages other duties and assignments as determined by the Principal and/or the Board.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's in Education, Sports Management or related field.
- Previous experience in athletics and/or education is preferred.
