Strong Roots Christian School is prayerfully seeking applicants for a Christian School Administrator for the 2024-2025 school year.
Strong Roots Christian School is passionate about our mission to educate students in the light of God's word, establishing roots for a lifetime of learning, leadership, service, and worship to the glory of God. Our team of first-class educators is committed to living out our mission by creating a culture of belonging, discovery, and growth. We are currently seeking to add a qualified educator who loves Jesus, is passionate about a calling to journey with students, embraces collaboration, and desires to facilitate high-quality, student-centered learning.
Job Requirements
- The Administrator must be a born again Christian.
- A clear, identifiable, and verifiable demonstration of one or more of the spiritual gifts as described in 1 Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4, 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5.
- In agreement with the Statement of Faith, and the Educational Philosophy of SRCS.
- Maintain a regular and contributing involvement in a church with a doctrine that is in agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and is scripturally sound in its teaching
- Feels called to Christian education and shares a vision for the future of SRCS.
- Subscribe to and strongly support a biblical worldview.
- Be an advocate for Christian education in general and SRCS in particular
Education Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized college or university.
- Meet criteria for Administrator as required by Christian Schools International and the State of Iowa for accreditation.
- Possess a desire or be able to obtain the required administrative licensure of the State of Iowa.
