Upper Level Science Teacher
We are seeking an upper level science teacher to teach 7th through 12th grade science as well as 7th grade math and an elective of choice.
- Maintain a positive Christ-centered classroom
- Work well as part of a collaborative team
- Set a high, but realistic standard of classroom work and behavior
- Plan and implement engaging lessons
- Correct student work and enter it into our online grading system a minimum of twice per week
- Communicate with parents about any concerns through phone calls, emails, or in person meetings
- Help with lunch/recess duty
- Attend all meetings, professional development, conferences, and trainings
Job Requirements
This position will include grades 7th-12th grade. A qualified candidate must have a love for education, a relationship with Jesus, and be led by the Holy Spirit to work at the North Iowa Christian School.
Education Requirements
- CPR/ First Aid Certification
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher/ Iowa Teaching Certificate
