Lead Caregiver in Toddler Classroom
Seeking a Lead Caregiver who will develop and maintain a classroom that provides a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment for children 18 mo-3 yrs.
- Create a safe, welcoming, enriching Christian environment
- Treat all children with care and compassion
- Maintain a classroom culture that promotes a sense of belonging for all children in a safe, joyful, and engaging community
- Create and implement lesson plans that are faith-based and developmentally appropriate
- Document and communicate with families regarding developmental progress
- Cultivate appropriate relationships with families
- Maintain healthy communication with families
- Collaborate on a professional learning team to ensure developmentally appropriate learning activities for students
- Complete a minimum of 16 hours of professional development annually
- Uphold safety standards as outlined in the Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Technical Assistance Manual
- Promote GRCS’ Early Childhood programs and services
Education Requirements
- Preferred Bachelors or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or child-related field
- High school diploma or GED with relevant experience in working with young children
