Job Requirements
Bradenton Christian School seeks a dynamic, creative, and collaborative teacher of Spanish I. This teacher will have knowledge of and experience with ACTFL standards and competencies. This position will teach students at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels and therefore must have a capacity, flexibility, and desire to teach across grade levels. Our ideal candidate will be able to get students excited about learning language in the classroom and will integrate cultural studies of Spanish-speaking countries throughout the curriculum. Candidates should understand differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and possess the ability and willingness to use multiple teaching methods to reach a broad range of students. Candidates must enjoy working with adolescents and must possess an exceptional work ethic. The position may include extra-curricular activities
Education Requirements
- FL Teaching Certificate (or Statement of Eligibility) in Spanish subject area preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, Spanish language preferred.
- Must be able to fluently read, write and speak Spanish.
- Classroom teaching experience preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a team player with a desire to help and serve others.
- Communicate and collaborate with parents, students, and teachers.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
