Head Football Coach/Health & Physical Education Teacher
CVC is searching for our new Head Football Coach and we have a full-time teaching position to go with it!
Central Valley Christian Schools (CVC), located in Visalia, California is looking for our next Head Football Coach. CVC is a PK-12 dually-accredited (CSI & WASC) Christian school experiencing record enrollment and success in many of our curricular and co-curricular programs. Our new FB coach will be stepping into an established and successful program. There were 92 boys who participated in the 2023 football season (Frosh/JV/Varsity) so the interest level is very high (HS enrollment is 380). A full time Health/PE teaching position is also available for the successful candidate to join the teaching staff as well.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have good experience coaching football as well as working with and relating to young athletes. Coaching from a distinctively Christian perspective is a must and applicants must be prepared to explain what this looks like in their coaching philosophy. While not a requirement, our desire is that this person will be on our teaching staff as well and so the ability to teach Health and P.E. classes (including weight training) would be preferred. Organizational and communication skills are a must with this position.
Education Requirements
- Teaching and Coaching certifications are preferred.
