Christian Schools International is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jennifer Thompson as chief operating officer effective September 1, 2022. In this new capacity, Ms. Thompson will provide oversight for CSI’s Accreditation and Professional Learning initiatives as well as direction for various operational functions of the organization.
Ms. Thompson currently provides leadership to the PREP program at Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She previously served as head of school at Ontario Christian School (CA) and San Jose Christian School (CA), and in various instructional and administrative roles, including elementary principal at Westminster Christian School in Miami, FL.
A native of Vermont, Ms. Thompson received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL, and her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Florida International University in Miami, FL. She also completed the Fellows program at the Van Lunen Center for Executive Management in Christian Schools at Calvin University, Grand Rapids, MI.
Ms. Thompson currently serves as a member of CSI’s Pension and Benefits Board of Trustees and has been working in various leadership development capacities for CSI, including serving as an instructor in both the Emerging Leaders Development Institute (ELDI) and Principal Development Institute (PDI) programs.
