West Side Christian School’s goal is to provide a quality, Christ-centered education from a Reformed Christian perspective for the children of believing parents and to prepare students spiritually and academically to live as Christ’s servants. Established in 1883 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, they are blessed to be able to maintain that commitment through the work of a qualified staff and dedicated parents. Students continue to earn high scores on Achievement and Michigan Education Assessment Program (MEAP) Tests. They are able to provide financial assistance where needed for parents who value Christian education and want to send their children to WSCS. Most importantly, however, WSCS is thankful to have the opportunity to prepare children for tomorrow’s challenges with a rich understanding of God’s creation and His Word and a commitment to serve Him. West Side Christian School welcomes the diversity of all Christian parents who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and who are looking for a Christian education for children in preschool through grade 8.
