Spanish Reading Support Teacher

Spanish reading support should be fluent in spoken and written spanish and proficient in English. While a teaching certificate or experience is preferred, it is not required. This person would work one on one with students and with small groups of students to help them grow in their Spanish literacy skills. Hours will be determined based on availability and classroom need.

- Lifting and other physical requirements may be necessary for some positions
- Must be fluent in Spanish
Ideal Candidates for an Assistant position would possess the qualifications listed below:
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student information
- Ability to take direction from others and form a complementary relationship to classroom teachers that results in teamwork, a free exchange of ideas, and enhanced problem-solving skills
Compensation:
- Hourly Pay starts at $ 19.00 per hour, depending on education background and/or years of experience in a related field
- Benefits are not available for part-time employees
- Paid sick time might be applicable dependent on hours
- Pay is distributed on a semi monthly basis during the school year. Employees are not paid during the summer months when not working.
- Any requested staff training events will be paid.
