Mount Vernon Christian School (Mount Vernon, WA) is accepting applications for the position of Director of Academic Support for Grades K-12 beginning July 1, 2023. This individual should have a wide variety of collaborative experiences with academic interventions to serve the diverse learning styles of many students. The Director of ASP will conduct student testing and evaluation, recommend appropriate interventions (pull-out, push-in (inclusion), one-on-one and small group instruction, resource room, tutoring, study skills, etc.), and implement a plan to best serve students. This individual will evaluate our school’s needs and assist in the development of a broader program that best serves our current students and the mission of Mount Vernon Christian School. To begin with, this individual will work directly with the Directors of Elementary and MS/HS.

Job Requirements

Candidates possessing a commitment to the Reformed faith, a desire to work with students and staff at a Christian school, and find joy in being part of a dynamic teaching team should send a letter of application and resume to the Superintendent’s Office. Education Requirements

Candidates should have a M.Ed. in Special Education and be able to acquire appropriate WA State Certification.
