Business Manager

NPCS is seeking a part-time Business Manager position in the Administration office.

NorthPointe Christian Schools is seeking an experienced candidate to oversee the financial management functions, including internal control and financial transactions.

NorthPointe Christian is a local PreK-12 school with over 950 students in its system. The ideal candidate should be familiar with QuickBooks and Excel. An accounting degree and/or several years of accounting experience is preferred. HR experience would be a definite plus.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare annual budget.
  • Prepare monthly financials for the School Board as well as detailed reports to Building Principals and Department Heads.
  • Keep insurances up to date, including re-bidding at certain times.
  • Oversee Tuition receivable management.
  • Make monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Invest excess cash.
  • Prepare for and interacting with outside accountants for audits.
  • Make sure all proper tax returns are filed appropriately and on time.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and relational office.
