Trinity Christian College seeks a full-time Social Media Specialist.

Trinity Christian College seeks a full-time Social Media Specialist. The Social Media Specialist will serve a critical role in the College’s marketing and recruiting strategy through social media story telling across various platforms that engage current and prospective students, alumni, and the Trinity community.

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the College’s primary social media accounts
  • Create and write digital content with a primary focus on recruiting
  • Exhibit a strong wit and intelligence when engaging with the online community
  • Research and monitor social media and digital trends in higher education
  • Collaborate with team members to design and execute social media plans and campaigns for college events and initiatives
  • Attend select college events that are involved in active social media campaigns
  • Collect, compile, and analyze social media activity data, and generate regular reports
  • Assist in the planning, design, management, and measurement of digital advertising decisions and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns

Other qualifications include:

  • Understand and embrace the mission and ministry of the College
  • Proficient in all major social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proofreading
  • Strong collaborative, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiar with automation tools for social media
  • Able to attend and work occasional events on nights/weekends
  • Maintain a valid United States driver’s license
  • Basic photo editing/graphic design skills
  • Experience with Google Ads and PPC campaigns a plus

A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or related field is required with a minimum of 2 years’ experience creating and managing social media campaigns. The candidate must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language with a strong emphasis on proper grammar and be able to use sound judgement and division making to ensure appropriate interactions with online users.
