About the Regional Winners
The North American Competition takes place on June 20, 2019 in Washington, DC at the Museum of the Bible. Keep Andrew, Caden, Justin, Levi, and Luke in your prayers as they travel and prepare for the final round of the Challenge!
Andrew Peter
Medicine Hat Christian School | Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada
Andrew is nine years old and enjoys playing the guitar and drums. His favorite subject in school is science. When Andrew grows up, he would like to be a doctor. He wanted to participate in the Bible Quiz Challenge because it’s a fun way to learn about the Bible. Andrew is really looking forward to seeing the Museum of the Bible.
Caden LeMahieu
Oostburg Christian School | Oostburg, Wisconsin
Caden is ten years old. He likes to play outside, do woodwork with his dad, swim, and play with this siblings and cousins. When Caden grows up, he wants to be an oncologist because his grandpa struggled with cancer last year, which made Caden want to help others with the disease. During his time in Washington, DC, Caden is looking forward to seeing landmarks and monuments that honor our country and military.
Justin McKendrick
Trinitas Classical School | Grand Rapids, Michigan
Justin is ten years old. He likes to collect rocks and minerals. He also enjoys drawing, painting, and Nintendo Switch. Justin’s favorite subject in school is Latin. He would like to be a doctor when he grows up. Justin wanted to participate in the Bible Quiz Challenge because he enjoys trivia competitions and learning about the Bible. He is excited to see the archeological exhibits at the Museum of the Bible.
Levi Little
Carolina Christian School | Locust, North Carolina
Levi is ten years old. He enjoys fishing, riding four wheelers, and history. His favorite subject in school is history/social studies. Levi would like to be a Navy SEAL and a politician when he grows up. Levi’s enjoyment of competition and his desire to learn more about the Bible inspired him to participate in the Bible Quiz Challenge. Levi is excited to explore historical places throughout the city during his time in Washington, DC, in addition to the Museum of the Bible.
Luke Landis
Oak Grove Classical School | Albuquerque, New Mexico
Luke is nine years old and enjoys reading, playing Legos and Pokémon. His favorite subject in school is reading, and he wants to be a writer when he grows up. Luke wanted to participate in the Bible Quiz Challenge because he wanted to see how much he could learn. He is looking forward to learning more about God when he is at the Museum of the Bible.
