US Pension Plan

US Pension Plan

The US Christian School Pension Plan and Trust Fund is designed to provide an important part of the income needed for retirement. The plan is a defined benefit pension plan and was established by Christian Schools International for employees of its member school in the United States.

The Christian Schools International Pension Plan has been the backbone to providing a secure retirement for thousands of administrators, faculty, and staff over the years.

  • Pension Formula: At retirement (age 65), eligible staff receive 40 percent of their accumulated contributions on an annual basis for the rest of their lives. For example, if you contribute $50,000, you receive $20,000 (40 percent) annually for life.
  • Short-Term Disability: The plan automatically includes short-term disability: one month waiting period, five months of benefit, at 75 percent of salary.
  • September Entry: Schools can join the pension plan every September 1.
