New Leader Program

Even with thorough training and preparation, administrative tasks can be difficult for those who are just starting in Christian education leadership. That’s why CSI coaches new administrators by providing a yearlong mentoring experience.
The curriculum requires that new leaders do what all administrators do – write budgets, plan board meetings, lead curriculum planning, etc. – but with a dose of sage advice sprinkled in by a veteran Christian school administrator.

New Leader Program Details:

Each team of leader and mentor must visit each other’s schools monthly and remain in contact via phone or e-mail. Together, they read and discuss topics related to educational leadership.

The new leader also maintains a journal and composes two statements outlining a vision of Christian education and vision for the school that he or she serves.
