Intern-Mentor Program

CSI’s Intern-Mentor Program offers a unique inside look at Christian school administration. Designed for teachers who want to explore a leadership position, the intern program teams up an intern with a mentor who guides them through a semester-long program.

Intern-Mentor Program Details:

Interns complete the following activities as part of the program:

  • Spend one week shadowing their mentor.

  • Attend a minimum of two professional meetings with their mentor.

  • Read and discuss a series of scenarios that administrators often encounter.

  • Complete three elective activities (covering the categories of Administration, Curriculum, and Spokesperson for Christian Education).

  • and much more!

The program is open to intern-mentor teams from any CSI member school. A $1,000 (US) scholarship is awarded to each team to help with expenses of materials, substitutes, travel, and conferences. Interns and mentors must apply as a team.
