Christian Distinctives Workshop

What is it that teachers in Christian schools do in the classroom that is distinctively different than their public school counterpart down the street?

Christian Schools International is pleased to announce an exciting new program for the teachers and administrators who wish to enhance their thinking about implementing distinctively Christian education. The Christian Distinctives Workshop can be used for the orientation of new teachers or administrators, or serve as a “refresher course” for those currently serving in those positions.

Christian Distinctives Workshop Details:

Intended Audience:
CSI Teachers new to Christian education.

Commitment:
Participants will work together for two days in the fall and two days in the spring. In between these two sessions participants will be part of their own professional learning community as they stay connected through the CSI Member Community Center.

Focus:
Over the course of the year, participants will drill into issues of:


  • Connection Passion to Mission

  • Understanding Worldview

  • Understanding Kids, Parents, Church, Community

  • Implementing Discinctivness
