5 Steps to Getting Started

1. Review

Review the list of courses available, the dual enrollment guidelines, and the about dual enrollment section of the web site to ensure you understand the details of this program.

2. Consult

Consult with your high school guidance counselor if you are enrolled in a public or private school or with your parent if you are home schooled to confirm that the desired courses will meet graduation requirements.

3. Determine

Determine if your high school, home school, intermediate school district or if you will be responsible for your dual enrollment tuition.

4. Complete

Complete all the sections of the dual enrollment application form, make sure you have read and agreed to the “statements of understanding” listed in the application.

5. Contact

Have your high school transcripts and your ACT or SAT scores sent to the SAU Admissions office:

Once the five steps above are completed you’ll receive notification of your acceptance into the program as well as SAU guest student admissions. You will also receive a confirmation regarding your course enrollment and additional details regarding textbooks, course access info, etc.
