Applying for CSI Membership

As you consider membership in Christian Schools International, do so prayerfully. Associating with an international organization of parents and educators who are committed to God-centered education that views Scripture as central to all of life and learning is an important step that will strengthen your ministry to students, parents, and your school community. We look forward to hearing from you.

Employee Benefit Plans Enrollment Dates

CSI encourages eligible members to participate fully in all CSI programs. Because some of the employee benefit programs have specific enrollment dates, please note those dates for enrolling in the pension and insurance programs:

  • Pension: September 1 only

  • Insurance: Employees of new member schools become eligible on the first day of the month after membership is approved by the CSI Board of Trustees and the Trustees of the CSI Insurance Plan and Trust Fund have accepted the fully-executed participation agreement and the enrollment forms. All other member schools are eligible to enroll their employees on the first day of any month after the employing member has properly applied for and submitted a duly-executed participation agreement and the enrollment forms have been approved by the Trustees of the CSI Employee Benefit Plans.

Processing Your Application

  • As soon as your application is received, the President/CEO will review it. You will be contacted to ensure that everything is in order.

  • The President/CEO will present your application to the Board of Trustees, and you will be informed of the Board’s decision immediately following their meeting. If the Executive Committee approves your membership between Board meetings, you will be informed immediately and the benefits of membership begin as outlined in this document. The full Board will ratify the membership at its next meeting.
