This year, like most of my other years of teaching, started with a few days of “professional development (P.D).” Most of us in the teaching profession start our school years this way. And every year we have to decide whether or not we will change our practices based on what we are presented with.  This year I decided to change.  The P.D. this year was focused on Distinctively Christian Teaching.  I was immediately interested in the topic (which is not always the case for most teachers and professional development).
